Aditya Khurana, currently seen in Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain, says acting was more than a career choice for him. Storytelling always attracted him, and he just knew what he wanted to become.
He said, "For me, acting was never just a career choice; it was a calling. I have always been fascinated by the power of storytelling and the ability to step into someone else's shoes, to feel what they feel, live their truth, and convey their emotions to an audience. The idea of being able to live a hundred different lives in a single lifetime is what truly inspired me. It's the ultimate form of artistic freedom and self-expression."
Reflecting on his early days in the industry, he describes struggle as a constant companion rather than a passing phase. "I always say that struggle is a never-ending journey in this creative field. When you first enter the industry, you face endless rounds of auditions, silent waiting rooms, and the pressure to constantly prove your worth," he said.
Over time, though, he says his relationship with that struggle began to shift. "But with time, as you keep chasing your dreams, you notice a shift. The struggle doesn't necessarily disappear, but you become much stronger, your resilience builds, and your goals become larger. The obstacles that used to worry you before simply become stepping stones for what's next," he said.
Asked about the turning point in his career, he points to a single defining moment. "Winning Man of the World in 2022 was definitely the ultimate turning point for me. Standing on that global stage and representing India changed everything," he said.
That win, he explains, opened the door to acting as a full-time pursuit. "It gave me the visibility and the platform I needed. It was right after that monumental win in 2022 that doors began to open, and I actually transitioned into working professionally as a full-time actor," Aditya ended.
