Model-turned-actress Nita Sharma aka Neeta Sharma is steadily widening her presence across Indian screens, moving between Bhojpuri cinema, television, web series and now regional films. Her most talked-about project is the upcoming Kannada crime-thriller "The 7 Deaths," in which she plays the lead.
Sharma didn't start out in front of the camera. She spent her early working years in corporate roles before shifting to modeling, and from there into acting. That switch has since carried her across several formats and languages.
On the web, she took a main-lead role in the series "I Love You." Her television work includes a three-episode run in the DD National serial "Bhed Bharam," along with an appearance in a crime story on Ishara TV built around the "Sabita Bhabhi" viral video. In Bhojpuri cinema, she performed an item number opposite Pawan Singh in "Kaisen Hoi Jaala Pyar."
Sharma also features in Aditya Dhar's spy-action film "Dhurandhar," appearing in both instalments of the two-part project. The film, headlined by Ranveer Singh, released in December 2025 and later pulled a wide audience on streaming. A Tamil film is in her pipeline too, adding another language to a résumé that already runs across Hindi, Bhojpuri and Kannada work.
Away from acting, she has recorded music as well, with more than six songs and albums to her name. The spread of screen and music credits points to a career being built across mediums rather than along a single track.
"The 7 Deaths," her Kannada lead, is expected to give her firmer footing in South Indian cinema. The crime-thriller is one of her larger acting assignments so far, and a strong reception could widen her recognition in the regional industries.
