“Managing multiple responsibilities was definitely challenging, but because the story was very close to my heart, it felt natural. As the concept writer, I knew exactly what message I wanted to convey. As a producer, I focused on ensuring that all resources, planning, and logistics were in place,” he said.

He further added, “As a director, my goal was to bring authenticity and realism to the screen. Having a dedicated team, including Jayati Bhatia, Varsha Solanki, Chirag Vora, and the entire crew, made the process smoother. Their support allowed me to balance these roles effectively and stay focused on the film’s vision. I must also acknowledge Janvi Doshi, Partner at Shreenathji Mediaworks, whose constant support and belief in meaningful storytelling played an important role throughout the journey.”

Speaking about the casting process, Kaushik shared, “When I narrated the concept to Jayati Bhatia, she immediately connected with the subject and agreed to be a part of the project. Her enthusiasm gave me a lot of confidence.”

“Since the film deals with a socially relevant issue, it required actors who could bring sincerity and depth to their performances. Varsha Solanki was also a perfect fit for the role, and together they helped bring the story to life in a very impactful manner,” he added.

Casting, according to him, was driven by instinct and a shared understanding of the film’s emotional core. “We shot the film across various locations in Mumbai, including several chawls, which added authenticity to the narrative. The real locations helped us capture the environment and emotions required for the story. We have also submitted the film to several film festivals across India and internationally.”

The decision to shoot on real locations was a conscious one, helping the film stay rooted in reality. Sharing details about the release, he said, “We are releasing Condumb on YouTube on June 4 so that it can reach the widest possible audience.”

“Since the film is based on a subject that concerns society at large, YouTube seemed like the ideal platform to maximize viewership and engagement. We hope people will watch the film, connect with its message, and become more aware of the consequences of such actions,” he added.

For Kaushik, accessibility is just as important as the message itself. Looking ahead, he shared the vision of the production house: “At Shreenathji Mediaworks, along with our Partner Janvi Doshi, we plan to continue creating meaningful content that is rooted in awareness, reality, and true stories. Story

The story begins in a North Indian city on a dark night. Peter (Peter Wilson) is seen murdering someone inside a deserted house. Mentally disturbed and emotionally broken, Peter believes he is not wrong — just weak, but not defeated. Sitting inside his truck after the murder, he consumes medicines and alcohol while talking to himself.

Soon, he receives a message from his boss informing him that he has been fired for drunk driving. Humiliated by the abusive texts, Peter loses control completely. He drives straight to his boss’s house and brutally kills him as well.

Peter later enters a church and confesses to murdering a woman inside the confession box. But shockingly, moments later, he murders the priest too, claiming that he no longer trusts anyone.

On the other side is Sara (Esha Singh), who is going through marital issues with her husband. She refuses to give him custody of their child and leaves for her mother’s house with her son Sachin.

While driving, road construction forces her to stop the car. As she steps out to attend to her child sitting in the backseat, Peter’s truck stops behind her. Drunk and impatient, Peter keeps honking continuously. Irritated, Sara walks up to his truck, yells at him and calls him ill-mannered. Peter simply stares at her silently.

That one argument slowly turns into a deadly game. On one side is a psychologically disturbed killer, and on the other is a mother willing to fight for her child at any cost. Their conflict becomes a tense survival thriller that keeps the audience constantly anxious.

Direction

Director Peter Wilson deserves credit for handling a feature film with almost only two central characters. He presents Peter’s disturbed mental state in a raw and natural manner. Peter sees himself as the victim of society and believes violence is justified against those who wrong him.

At the same time, Sara’s ego, anger and emotional vulnerability are also explored effectively. Wilson succeeds in maintaining tension throughout the 2-hour-18-minute runtime.

One of the film’s most unique aspects is that there are almost no dialogues. The storytelling depends heavily on silence, expressions and atmosphere, making the psychological tension feel even more disturbing and realistic.

Performances

Peter Wilson delivers the film’s standout performance. Through expressions and body language alone, he successfully portrays the pain, frustration and dangerous instability of his character. Since the film has very limited dialogues, his facial expressions become the primary driving force of the narrative.

As a psychotic killer, Wilson manages to create fear without relying on exaggerated theatrics. His calmness often feels more terrifying than violence itself.

Esha Singh also leaves a strong impact as Sara. Initially appearing as an egoistic and fearless woman, her character slowly transforms into a desperate mother trying to save her child. Esha handles this emotional transition naturally and convincingly.

The face-off scenes between Peter Wilson and Esha Singh are among the strongest moments of the film. Despite minimal dialogues, both actors keep the tension alive through performance alone.

Speaking about what inspired him to enter the industry, he said, “I was always inclined towards the beauty and wellness industry. However, my first break was through the event management  company where I used to manage talent for some events and then I got into Hotel Sahara Star and that was my break into the beauty industry. What inspires me is to recreate the natural beauty, and help people explore the natural beauty within.”

“From a front office executive I was promoted into Wellness department. I was heading the salon, spa and gym, and I think from there until today it has been a journey of of learning and hard work and discipline put together to which today I stand as a co-founder for two brands, where I am the CEO as well,” he added.

One of the major turning points in his professional journey came when he met celebrity hairstylist Florian Hurel over a decade ago. Their collaboration eventually led to the expansion of multiple ventures together. Recalling the beginning of that association, he said, “I met Florian 12 years ago, where I was a Business Manager and he was the creative artistic Director of the brand. The mantra was to be disciplined and consistent in everything we do. And we grew from two salons to four, then we ventured into opening an artist management company in 2019 followed by a fitness centre Flofitbox in 2020, then The Salon and spa business in 2023, and the product business in year 2024.”

Today, Florian Hurel Hair Couture and Spa has expanded significantly, and Zarir takes immense pride not just in the business growth but also in the opportunities the brand creates for people working within the industry. He said, “I do feel proud of being a part of such a brand which is not only towards making revenues but actually giving the power to dream and explore and unleash the potential in this industry. Currently serving as the CEO and co-founder of the brand, he continues to oversee operations while also representing the company at various public platforms and industry events. He said, “My current designation is as the CEO and co-founder of the brand, which means the entire operations execution is on my shoulders representing the brand and being the brand face at many public forums as well as events is the part of my job.”

The trailer witness a grand launch event on November 1 at Loop Cinemas, Surat. Within hours, it became the talk of the town. With its powerful visuals, spine-chilling background score, and intense performances, the trailer has left everyone amazed.

Every frame of Dusshera’s trailer feels grand and full of energy. The visuals bring alive a mysterious world where faith and fear collide. The dialogues hit hard, the visuals stay with you, and the music adds a divine strength to every scene. Viewers have called it a “game-changer” for Gujarati cinema…something never seen before at this scale.

The magic that stunned the audience at the launch event has now taken over the internet, with netizens showering their love on the trailer. Social media is already flooded with reactions. The grand reveal of the Ganpati Bappa’s idol is scheduled for August 27, 2025. The bus route and detailed schedule are expected to be announced shortly by Mumbai Cha Sheth team. This will be allowing devotees to plan their participation in the mobile darshan.

Crafted entirely using traditional handwork on Khadi tissue, the lehenga featured India’s national bird — the peacock — highlighted with silver ghungroos and intricate detailing. The total cost of creating the garment reportedly reached ₹4 lakh, a testament to its craftsmanship and cultural value.

What makes the selection even more exceptional is that Cannes typically favors western gown formats for its red carpet events. But Dr. Sharma’s design broke conventions — it impressed the selection committee so much that they lifted the gown-only requirement, allowing her to retain the bridal form and merely adapt it to a gown silhouette.

Unfortunately, as the festival approached in mid-May, rising tensions between India and Pakistan led to canceled flights from Jodhpur and widespread logistical issues. With her travel plans disrupted, Dr. Sharma missed the opportunity to physically attend the Cannes Film Festival, which ran from May 13 to 24.

Despite this setback, Dr. Sharma has already received invitations to both the next edition of Cannes and the prestigious Paris Fashion Show, reaffirming the industry’s recognition of her talent and artistry. She underwent a rigorous five-round selection process that included video interviews and detailed dress sketches, with final confirmation arriving in February 2025.

Dr. Sharma remains optimistic, stating that her mission continues beyond the red carpet. Through her Vastrashala Academy, she trains rural, urban, and underprivileged youth in fashion design, textiles, AI-based fashion tech, and embroidery. Her vision is to empower future designers to represent India globally, just as she has.

While geopolitical tensions may have delayed her Cannes debut, Dr. Sharma’s journey is far from over — and her art continues to make waves, both at home and abroad.

Director Shivam Malhotra, who is also Unick’s brother, expressed his joy over the overwhelming response to the song. “From the concept to execution, we wanted to create something fresh and youthful. Sana and Unick brought that vision to life beautifully. It was a proud moment for me to direct my brother and see him flourish alongside someone as talented as Sana.”

Satyam Malhotra, the producer of Nachi DJ Pe and the third Malhotra sibling, spoke about how the synergy between the cast and crew played a key role in the song's success. “We worked hard behind the scenes to make this project shine. A source close to the actor shared, “The shooting for the show has been underway for the past two months, and during this time, there has been an outpouring of fan requests for Sachin’s comeback. While the makers had always planned to bring him back, it’s clear that his fans are eagerly waiting to see him again.”

Hrishikesh Pandey first joined C.I.D. in 2010 as Inspector Sachin and quickly became a fan favorite for his portrayal of a dedicated officer committed to justice. His character made his debut in the episode "Khooni Deewar," where he played an undercover cop.

The much-awaited second season of C.I.D. has officially premiered on Netflix, with the first 18 episodes now available for streaming since February 21, 2025. New episodes will be released every weekend at 10 PM.

Originally hailing from Bengaluru, Sowmya CM has been in the news for her modeling and acting careers. She made her film debut recently in the Telugu movie "Indrajaalam," which greatly diversifies her prospects in the entertainment industry. A polyglot, Sowmya speaks Kannada, English, and Telugu, making versatility her trademark in regional and national film industries.

Sowmya CM first hit the limelight in 2022 when she was crowned as Miss Karnataka, marking the inception of her march in the epoch of beauty pageants. The beauty of this pageant is the addition to the crown Miss Globe India 2024, with the consequent burgeoning recognition in both the modeling and film industries.

The Miss Globe India pageant is organized by Miss Celeste India National Level Beauty Pageant, and the national directors for the event are Yogesh Mishra and Nimisha Mishra, founders of Fusion Group. Last year, Dr. Aishwarya Patiapati also passed on the crown, being one of the Top 15 finalists at the Miss Globe pageant back at Miss Globe Femina '23. Season 2 #Trial @disneyplushotstar @banijayasia." Seeing how her character develops will probably keep the fans fully engaged.

The Trial had a fantastic first season, starring Kajol, Sheeba Chaddha, and Jisshu Sengupta in powerfully important roles. With season two now in production, fans are excited to see what dynamics Kubbra's character brings into action.

Besides The Trial season 2, she has several other exciting projects forthcoming. Having completed most of her shooting for Son of Sardaar 2 starring Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, and Ravi Kishan, she will be seen in David Dhawan's untitled comedy and plays an important role as a police officer in Deva, the action thriller starring Shahid Kapoor, which is set to release in February 2025.

The World of Stree stands out not only for its powerful message but also for its innovative approach—this is the first time in the industry that a choreographer will share the stage with an actress, performing live to showcase the multifaceted strength of women. Sixteen female and nine male models strutted down the runway, bringing to life the unique visions of the student designers. The show highlighted traditional arts like the famous blue pottery of Jaipur and the intricate chikankari embroidery of Lucknow, seamlessly integrated into modern designs.

Among the standout collections was 'Bluekari,' a fusion of blue pottery and chikankari. This collection, designed by Himanshi Sharma, Somya Agarwal, and Sunaina Shekhawat, masterfully blended the timeless elegance of these crafts with the dynamic energy of street style fashion. 'Bluekari' encapsulated the rich cultural heritage of India, telling a story of craftsmanship and tradition reimagined for the contemporary urban dweller. The silhouettes incorporated elements from both crafts, creating ensembles that were both cohesive and visually striking.

The students' creativity shone through other themed sequences such as Zulu Art, Queen’s Luster, Cluster Cosmos, Primordial Princess, The Unsung Warrior, Kokhloma, Threads of Tradition, Decode the Red, Bedlah, and Y2K Bazaar. Each theme showcased a unique blend of colors, textures, and designs, reflecting the students' deep understanding and appreciation of fashion as an art form.

The models' stunning transformations were courtesy of Kajal Bansal and her team from Kajal Makeup Artistry. Their skillful makeovers complemented the students' designs, enhancing the overall impact of the show. Special guests, fashion designers Padmaraj Keshri and Prashant Shivam, graced the event, adding to its prestige. The choreography, orchestrated by Shrikant Sharma and Isha Sharma, ensured a seamless and captivating flow throughout the evening.

The Ellenites Showcase was not just a fashion show but a celebration of creativity and innovation. The applause and admiration from the audience were a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, making the event a resounding success. As the curtain fell, it was clear that the future of fashion is bright with the emerging talents from Ellen College of Design.

“I feel like I am starting all over again as a newcomer. So, I am still waiting to find a script and a story, which I feel is good enough for my re-entry as a newcomer and something that would appeal to my sensibilities. I am not questioning the people who have offered me some roles, but they didn’t resonate with my sensibilities,” she concludes.

Before her stint in Bigg Boss, Rinku was seen on the TV show Titli, and is thankful to have work one after another in her hands.   She is also grateful to producer couple Ravie and Sargun, and she said it is commendable what they have achieved at such a young age. “They are successful in their individual careers, and together they have also proved it. They have done wonders for themselves. That energy speaks to the work. I remember I had spoken to them earlier, also regarding work. So a few days ago, I sent them a thank-you message, and it was very lovely of them to revert with so much love and gratitude. It’s commendable, the love they spread,” she concluded.
