Mishkat Verma and Priyanshi Yadav have quietly become the couple everyone on YouTube can't stop watching. As their web show Tu Yaa Koi Nahi picks up steam on the Director Kut Production channel, the two leads are winning over viewers one episode at a time. Fans have already handed them a title: the web space's newest "IT" on-screen pair.

The show, backed by Ishika Shahi, keeps climbing, but a big part of its pull is the duo at its centre. On camera or off, Mishkat and Priyanshi are easy to root for. Their behind-the-scenes clips get turned into reels within hours, and the comments underneath almost always ask for one thing — more.

So what's the secret? Start with the chemistry. It doesn't look staged or coached. When they crack jokes or react to a random question, the comfort between them is obvious, and that's exactly why people hit replay.

Then there's the fun factor. Plenty of celebrity interviews lose you halfway through. Not these two. Drop them in front of a camera and even an ordinary chat spirals into cheerful chaos — sudden jokes, playful jabs, answers nobody sees coming. No two conversations feel the same.

Their off-screen moments carry just as much weight. Fans dig through the internet for outtakes, on-set masti and candid reels, and Director Kut Productions has been feeding that appetite, dropping clip after clip. Some of these BTS videos rack up the same kind of numbers as scenes from the actual show. That tells you people enjoy the pair well beyond the roles they play.

The fandom does the rest. Every new video lands and the comment section fills up instantly — edits, appreciation posts, screenshots of a single smile or a funny reaction. The buzz doesn't die when the interview ends. It runs for days, sometimes longer, as fans keep the conversation going online.

What really sets them apart is repeat value. Not every pairing has it. Mishkat and Priyanshi do. There's an easy friendship in their energy and humour that makes each appearance worth the click, and audiences keep coming back for it.

For now, Tu Yaa Koi Nahi has given fans plenty to hold onto, and the makers seem happy to keep the reels coming. Whether it's a scene, an interview or a throwaway moment between takes, the two leads have found a rhythm that works — and viewers have made it clear they're not ready to look away.

In a recent emotional breakthrough on the government’s free OTT platform Waves (Prasar Bharati), the much-awaited web series “Frozen Feelings” has captured the audience’s hearts with its soul-stirring narrative and powerful performances. Headlined by Actor and influencer Rohan Rajput, the series is directed by the talented Parvezz Khan and beautifully explores the poignant journey of relationships, responsibilities, and emotional disconnect in modern families.

At its core, Frozen Feelings narrates the touching story of Dr. Prerna, a dedicated cardiologist, and her unwavering bond with her mother. Rohan Rajput delivers a compelling performance as parallel lead in the series Dr Rishabh ,whose character adds emotional gravity and complexity to the plot.

In an exclusive conversation, Rohan Rajput opened up about why this project held such personal significance for him. With visible emotion, he shared:

“I’ve always been deeply attached to my parents. This story mirrors a reality many of us live but rarely acknowledge — the sacrifices parents make for their children, and how those same children, in the rush of building their careers, often lose sight of those who built their world.”

He added that Frozen Feelings is not just a story, but a reflection of countless unsung relationships between mothers and children — the love, the struggles, and sometimes, the silent distance that creeps in with time.

Rohan also extended heartfelt appreciation to his co-actors Anju Sharma, Yashika, Aditi Ghangas, and Pooja Verma, along with the creative backbone of the series — music director Vishal Garg, composer Umakant Mudgal, and editor & VFX artist Sai Laxman. He also expressed gratitude towards Mr. Sanjeev Garg (Founder, SFR Footwear), and Anil & Mayank Bansal (Founders, Delvin), for their unwavering support.

The webseries comes shortly after Rohan completes 100 k milestone on his Instagram and won the Digital Creator of the year Award 2025

Rohan passionately urged the audience:

“In a country of 135 crore people, even if 5% viewers are moved enough by this series to care a little more for their parents — or parents for their children — we will feel that we’ve succeeded in serving the nation in our own way through storytelling.”

Frozen Feelings is more than just a web series — it is an emotional awakening. A must-watch for every generation.

Actress Aarvika Gupta is currently seen in the challenging role of Champa in the newly released web series Chidiya Udd, where she plays a drug addict who is HIV-positive and a prostitute. Speaking about her role, Aarvika says, “I had auditioned for this series a long time ago through a casting agency. After the audition, I forgot about it since I didn’t hear back. Then one day, I got a call from Omkar Ji of Baweja Studios, asking if I was ready to play the character I had auditioned for. I was so excited because the role was very challenging—an HIV-positive, drug-addicted prostitute on the verge of death, experiencing multiple emotions. As an actor, you always seek such challenges to prove yourself and deliver something impactful to the audience. So, I immediately said yes.”

How did she prepare for the role? Aarvika explains, “Honestly, I didn’t know how to prepare for such a role. But once I transformed my look through makeup, felt the character through costumes, and started shooting in the real locations of Kamathipura, I naturally began to feel Champa’s emotions. Shooting in Kamathipura was an experience I will never forget. Most of the scenes were shot on location, giving us a close look at the lives of prostitutes. We even saw people living that life while filming there. I stayed in the moment and played the role authentically. If I had prepared in advance, it wouldn’t have felt as real. What I felt on set, in that look, was genuine. Director Ravi Jadhav was my guiding light throughout the shooting.”

She adds, “To look weak and portray an HIV-positive person, I avoided eating and drinking water on set until my pack-up. My throat would stay dry, and I’d genuinely feel weak and restless—something that reflected on my face. I also avoided laughing much, as I wanted to stay in character. Despite all this, I truly enjoyed the shoot and learned that when you are hungry for good work, you can put everything aside and focus solely on perfecting your role.”

In recent years, there has been a noticeable rise in OTT platforms in India. Sharing her thoughts on this, Aarvika says, “Chidiya Udd is streaming for free, so I feel more people have been able to watch and appreciate it. Every character performed exceptionally well, and streaming the series on a big platform like Amazon for free has helped us reach a wider audience.”

OTT shows and films often include bold scenes. Was Aarvika conscious of this while taking up the role of Champa in Chidiya Udd? She says, “I didn’t have any bold scenes because my character was HIV-positive and in a dying condition. In fact, after receiving the brief, I didn’t even think about bold scenes. As an actor, it’s essential to know your boundaries. With the variety of content being made today, it’s up to you to decide how far you want to go. I make sure to choose roles and content that my parents can proudly watch.”

Aarvika is thrilled with the positive response to her performance. She shares, “I’ve been receiving a lot of appreciation and best wishes. People sympathize with Champa but also question why she sold her best friend for drugs. I’m happy that my performance came across as real and natural. Some people even said that if Sayani Gupta had played the role, she would have performed similarly. Being compared to Sayani Gupta’s performance is a huge compliment for me.”

Actor Ayesha Khan will be seen as Nikki in Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s new series, Dil Ko Rafu Karr Lei, which is produced under their banner, Dreamiyata Dramaa. Talking about her character, she said, “During the script reading, our writer Meenakshi went through the script, and after hearing it, I suggested that the girl's name should be Khwahish because she has so many dreams and so much ambition within her. But Meenakshi corrected me, saying, 'No, this is Nikki – the one who always speaks her mind, acts quickly, and gets things done in a flash.'”

“That moment stayed with me, and I realized Nikki is full of life. She’s a patakha, a strong, vibrant, and such a happy soul,” she added.

Though she shared that Nikki is mostly the same as her off-screen personality, she confessed that they are a little different. “A part of me is, yes, very much like her. I am very straightforward—on the face, always a happy girl, fun, and bubbly. But yes, Nikki’s energy is on another level, and I don’t think I can match up to that,” she said.

Ayesha is paired opposite Karan V Grover in the series and said that she is having an amazing time shooting with her co-stars on and off camera. “I think I am blessed to be working with such actors. Karan, Chirag, Meenakshi, Swati ji, Kamal, and oh, Nirmal ma’am—whenever I see her perform, it is such a joy, and I am always excited to see her shooting. She tracked all the way from Ludhiana, shot, and headed back home. She is honestly a very hardworking woman,” she said.

“Karan, of course, he is a fabulous actor and an amazing human being. I thought he would be a very serious person, but oh my, he is such a fun-loving person. We have a very good bond, and I am really going to miss everyone,” she added.

She also mentioned that working with Ravie and Sargun has been a blessing for her. “What can I even say about Sargun ma’am? She has always been an inspiration. A producer, entrepreneur, actor—you name it, and she is it. I really look up to her. I respect her more than I love her. She is so hardworking. Whenever she is on set, I am the happiest person. I am literally the person standing with sparkling eyes, seeing her. I really love her,” she said.

“And Ravie bhaiya—the voice in our trailer. I am his fan. All these years, he has given us entertainment to the core. I feel films can be made by everyone, but to have that creative mind and to put in all your efforts is not everyone’s cup of tea, but yes, Ravie bhaiya’s. They both know the art to present things to their audience,” Ayesha ended.

Actor Aniruddh Dave is currently enjoying all the praise for his portrayal of police officer Dushyant Thakur in the popular webseries Thukra Ke Mera Pyar. The show is directed by Shraddha Pasi and apart from Aniruddh Dave, the series stars Dhaval Thakur and Sanchita Basu as leads. The show has garnered all the love from the viewers and also the most watched show in recent times. Sharing more on the feedback, Aniruddh says, "The way series has been appreciated by the audience I am very happy. The writer of the series is Kamal Pandey who has written it beautifully and he is the one who approached me for Dushyant’s role. I saw potential in the character and hence took it up.”

He also adds,”I feel the reason why audiences are liking the series is because it's unique and refreshing as it explores career orientation, college life, and the dreams and aspirations of the youth. And this genre is definitely my favourite genre as the story revolves around an aspirant preparing for the UPSC who falls in love. To me the best part of Dushyant is that he is loveable, fearless and relatable to me.”

This is not the first time Aniruddh is playing the role of a police officer, we have seen him playing a police officer in the television show Patiala Babes. He says,”After so many years of acting I still approach a role in a new method and always start with a fresh take. Honestly wearing the uniform is always a great feeling and at the same time I take extra caution to play it with my utmost honesty. For this particular role I have maintained a certain body language and I have worked on my dialect, because it’s different. I also had a great time working with Sanchita in the series. I have some great scenes with her in the series and I am glad it has been well received.”

The actor also shares his experience of working in Chandu Champion which is something he will always remember. He says,”After Chandu the industry knows me with my name and what else I can ask for. I see myself working in greater and bigger projects in 2025. Web content is something I am looking forward to, I am an actor who is always hungry for meaningful roles, good story as to me my craft is more precious than anything.”

Imran Khan, who will be seen in ALTT’s Dons And Darlings, calls the name of the series interesting. He said, “Dons and Darlings is a very modern name. It feels like one of those titles from a Martin Scorsese film. The title doesn’t have any glamour, but it’s very apt for the story. There are dolls, and there are dons. Unfortunately, I’m playing one of the dons.”

Talking about his character, he said, “It’s a self-made journey, from rags to where he has reached now. He started as a small-time vendor, maybe selling things in local trains and public places. His character shows significant growth. He’s ambitious and wants to achieve everything: power, money, and the underworld. Once he gets the money, he believes the next step is power. So, he wants to enter politics and win elections.”

He also believes that the audience will be able to relate to his character’s determined self. He said, “By hook or by crook, he’s determined to climb the ladder of success. He will leave no stone unturned. That’s the essence of the character, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing him.”

Imran enjoyed working with his co-stars and said he had a great time. “I haven’t worked much with them before, but in the scenes we’ve shared, I’ve felt great chemistry with all of them,” he said.

“I’m confident people will relate to the modern theme. The makers have left no stone unturned, and I’m very happy with the production quality and the scenes I’ve shot,” Imran ended.

Manraj Singh Sarma is a talented actor known for his versatile performances across television and digital platforms. With a knack for portraying complex characters, he has captivated audiences in various shows, including Romil and Jugal, Bade Ache Lagte hai 2, and Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain. His recent role in the web series Dons and Darlings has further showcased his ability to bring depth and authenticity to his characters.

The actor describes his latest project, Dons and Darlings on ALTT, as a "rollercoaster." He believes the series will captivate a wide audience with its thrilling plot and unexpected twists.

“As the name suggests, it delves into the underworld of gangsters and the mafia,” Manraj shares. “The title gives a hint of the world you're about to enter. However, I wasn’t prepared for the shocking twists and turns that each episode brings. It’s sure to leave the audience stunned, just as it did me while playing Kartar.”

He goes on to praise the team behind the series: “Jeetu, our director, along with producers Amit and Kajal, and the entire ALTT team, are deeply invested in the show. They’ve crafted it for audiences to binge-watch and truly enjoy."

Commenting on the show's glam factor, he adds, “Yes, there’s definitely a strong glamour element, but what might surprise viewers is that the show also features hard-hitting performances. My glamorous co-stars, Subuhii Joshi and Akanksha Puri, have done an incredible job. They’ve not only nailed the glamour quotient but also brought emotional depth to their characters.”

When asked about his character, Kartar, he explains, “I play Kartar, the right-hand man of the gangster Balraj. Kartar handles the tough jobs and protects Balraj's family. He’s more than just a loyal enforcer—he's like family to Balraj. But as the show unfolds, the power dynamics shift. Kartar is a complex, morally grey character with a mind of his own. I really connected with his internal conflict and the emotions he experiences.”

Manraj continues, “I believe the audience will empathize with Kartar. His emotional turmoil will resonate with them. I truly feel they will connect with his struggles. And I must say, every character in this show plays a significant role.”

Speaking about his on-screen chemistry with co-stars, he shares, “Subuhii, who plays Ananya, is a close friend of mine. We have a great bond off-screen, and that camaraderie definitely translates on-screen. She’s not just beautiful but also a wonderful human being. As for Akanksha, who plays Naaz, this was our first time working together. Although we hadn't met before, the experience was very comfortable. She’s easy to work with—genuine and understanding.”

Reflecting on his journey with ALTT, Manraj recalls, “My first web series was with ALTT—Romil and Jugal—which was ahead of its time. Even today, people are watching it on Jio and asking for a second season. I also worked on Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain seasons 1 and 2, alongside Ronit Roy, Mona Singh, and Suchitra Pillai. My journey with ALTT has been incredible. I’ve been fortunate to play some very interesting characters. Balaji has truly been like home to me, as I’ve done most of my work with them.”

Story: Set in a university environment, Swipe Crime follows a group of Computer Science students as they create a dating app that evolves into a breakthrough innovation. Interwoven with their journey is the emotional story of a student coping with the anger and grief following the tragic loss of his best friend.

Review: Swipe Crime is an intriguing drama that explores the lives of a group of Computer Science students at Gyanshakti University. While the series aspires to authenticity, it occasionally deviates from realistic portrayals. However, strong performances and a compelling plot ensure that the story remains engaging. The show successfully blends themes of friendship, love, heartbreak, and digital crime within the university setting, offering a fresh perspective on the modern world of technology and relationships.

The characters, though somewhat familiar—such as the son of a mechanic, the wealthy student, the charming flirt, and the perennial underperformer—bring a certain charm to the narrative. Their dynamics, combined with the evolving mystery, keep the pace brisk and the audience invested. As the plot unfolds, viewers are drawn into a story where the digital world’s darker side collides with the students’ everyday lives.

The series centers on Vidhaan (Rishab Chadha), Raunak (Hardik Thakkar), Brian (Arun Choudhary), Nikhil (Ronit Ashra), and Pratyush (Nihal Nischal), who form close bonds during their first year at university. After a reckless stunt by Brian, the group faces consequences from their Head of Department, Professor Khatra (Faisal Malik), who shortens their project deadline. Amid the pressure, the group comes up with the idea of a revolutionary dating app, which catches the attention of Jessica Kapoor (Malvika Raaj), the CEO of Love Lane. Meanwhile, Vicky (Sanyam Sharma), a senior student, struggles with his degree while dealing with the painful loss of his best friend, Mallick (Prabhat Maruvada), to suicide. His obsession with uncovering the truth behind Mallick’s death adds a darker layer to the narrative.

Swipe Crime offers a glimpse into college life, capturing the dynamics between students, hostel culture, and relationships. The relatable characters remind viewers of their own college experiences, making the series feel grounded. The show’s central theme—the rise of digital crime in the modern age—remains relevant, although the exploration of this issue isn’t entirely groundbreaking. However, the well-developed characters and their interactions help maintain the audience’s interest throughout.

Rishab Chadha excels as Vidhaan, a student caught between his family’s financial struggles and his aspirations. His performance, complemented by his physical resemblance to Rajkummar Rao, adds depth to his character. Sanyam Sharma delivers a memorable performance as Vicky, capturing the emotional turmoil of a young man consumed by grief and a thirst for justice. Faisal Malik, known for his role in Panchayat, brings authenticity to his portrayal of Professor Khatra, a stern yet relatable figure. Diksha J Singh’s portrayal of Juhi, a mysterious character with an undisclosed backstory, serves as a hook for future seasons.

Swipe Crime explores the profound impact of digital crime through two parallel yet connected narratives. Despite some gaps in the plot, the series’ engaging characters and performances make it a compelling watch. It strikes a fine balance between crime, emotional depth, and the digital age's dangers, leaving viewers eager to see what comes next.

Hardik Thakkar, now streaming in Versatile Motion Pictures’ Swipe Crime on Amazon MX Player, is excited about how the show has captured the attention of viewers. Reflecting on his initial curiosity about the show, he shared, “The name immediately intrigued me. Swiping, which is associated with dating apps like Tinder, and the crime element were obvious from the start. It sparked my curiosity about what’s going to happen next.”

The show delves into the world of dating apps and social media, themes Hardik believes are highly relevant today. “Most young people are on dating apps, trusting strangers without knowing the risks involved,” he said. “While these platforms can connect people with genuine intentions, there are always predators. The show helps viewers understand these risks and become more aware.”

Hardik also highlighted the show’s potential to educate youth about the darker aspects of social media. “Young people are smart, but the newer users need to be made aware of the consequences of overusing these apps. They must learn to cross-check profiles instead of blindly trusting them,” he said. The topic of validation is central to the show, with Hardik noting that today’s generation seeks validation through social media likes and reels. “We are social animals, and now, the new way to seek validation is through content creation. It’s a trend that’s reshaping how we connect with each other.” Opening up about his own experience with social media’s dangers, Hardik shared, “Before COVID, someone created a fake account of mine on a dating app using my public images, and it led to a lot of misunderstandings with friends.” As an artist, Hardik views social media as a double-edged sword. “It inspires me creatively and pushes me to do more, but the constant comparison—followers, likes, and shallow content—really irritates me,” he confessed.

Despite the drawbacks, he acknowledges that social media helps keep him connected. “Sometimes, it makes me feel disconnected from family and friends because everyone’s online now. Offline time is at a minimum. But on the flip side, sharing reels and content has become a new way to stay in touch with people.”

In the fast-paced world of social media, Hardik stresses that there’s more at stake than just online presence. “As an actor, your craft is what truly matters. Social media can help you get work, but the ability to deliver and uphold your ethics is crucial,” he concluded.

With Swipe Crime now available, Hardik’s thought-provoking insights on the show’s themes resonate more than ever as it explores the challenges and consequences of living in a digital world.

Having been a part of cult films such as Tridev, Ajooba and Vishwatma, actor Sonam Khan was one of the most sought after female actors in the ‘90s, before she decided to quit the film industry 15 years ago. She left India and moved to Switzerland to focus on her family.

Contemplating making a comeback soon, the actor expresses her wish to sign an OTT project.“I am not interested in doing movies,” she tells us, adding, “I really want to do something on OTT because with the web, there is no hero or heroine, and it’s just the characters without which the story cannot move. Also, I find OTT platforms more inclusive, and the stories are age appropriate, which is not always the case with Bollywood films.”Hailing the streaming platforms for not only the kind of opportunities and variety they offer, but also for how they envision stories and characters, Sonam says she can’t wait to face the camera again.“OTT gives you that chance to be yourself. In whatever content I have watched so far, I see women coming up the way they are. Manisha Koirala in Heeramandi is amazing and beautiful, and she commands the screen. That, I find so appealing. There are many other stars in the show, but she owns the domain, and only an OTT project with so much depth will offer you that scope. In all shows, there are several characters. and everyone gets their own space, which they own perfectly,” she notes.

In fact, the actor credits the growth of web space as one of the main reasons that lured her to look forward to a career in showbiz once again, and now, she craves to showcase her acting prowess. However, she wouldn’t want to call her entry a comeback.“I feel like I am starting all over again as a newcomer. So, I am still waiting to find a script and a story, which I feel is good enough for my re-entry as a newcomer and something that would appeal to my sensibilities. I am not questioning the people who have offered me some roles, but they didn’t resonate with my sensibilities,” she concludes.
