In a recent podcast, actress Ssujata Mehta shares her experience of working with legends Sridevi and Rajnikanth

Ssujata recently opened up on working with legends like Sridevi, and Rajnikanth in the industry. In a conversation with Hindi Rush the actress shared, ”My interaction with Sridevi has been always very cordial, I remember once we were working on the set she actually asked someone to offer me a chair so I can sit. She has been always very respectful towards me.” Ssujata also clarified that often people referred the Chaalbaaz actress as arrogant but that was the phase when Sri Devi had a breakup with actor Mithun Chakraborty. ”She used to be so distraught. At the same time she was a thorough professional. She would sit quietly after the shot and belonged only to the camera.” 

Ssujata has also worked with the superstar Rajnikanth in the film Zameen and described him as a humble star. She says, ”I often wondered how come he reached where he reached without a conventional hero look! He told me,’I sit in the front of the mirror the whole night and talk to myself. He often skipped his lunch and would have only buttermilk. He had no ego and was incredibly down-to-earth.”

Ssujata is keen on taking up good roles on OTT. She adds,” I want to portray roles that showcase all nine rasas of acting. I believe in my convictions, I am capable of handling any kind of role that’s presented to me on these platforms,
