Alibaug (Maharashtra) [India], April 14: The Maharashtra Flat Owners Welfare Association (MFOWA) convened a strategic meeting in Alibaug on April 4, bringing together senior leadership and members of the organization to discuss key initiatives aimed at strengthening support systems for flat owners across Maharashtra.

The meeting was led by General Secretary Sandeep Bhosle and saw the presence of several senior members of the association’s leadership.

Key attendees included Chairman Sreenivas Reddy, Director Advocate Jeevantdatt Argade, President Deepak Narsibhai Bhanushali, and CEO & Strategic Committee Head Sumit Acharya.

The gathering focused on reviewing ongoing initiatives and exploring ways to expand the association’s outreach and operational effectiveness across districts in the state.

One of the primary areas of discussion was the growing need for structured support mechanisms for flat owners dealing with property documentation and housing society matters. Members exchanged insights on improving coordination with local authorities, streamlining documentation processes, and strengthening awareness around property rights and compliance requirements.

Participants also discussed practical strategies that can be implemented at the district level to help property owners navigate administrative and legal procedures more effectively.

According to the association, the discussions received a strong response from attendees, with nearly 80 percent of participants expressing interest in implementing the discussed initiatives within their respective districts.

Speaking on the occasion, President Deepak Narsibhai Bhanushali emphasized the importance of building a support system that helps citizens manage property-related challenges with clarity and confidence.

“Flat owners often face complicated documentation procedures and administrative delays that create uncertainty around property ownership. Our objective is to build a structured support network that can guide citizens through these processes and ensure they receive accurate information and reliable assistance,” he said.

Deepak Narsibhai Bhanushali also highlighted the need for greater awareness and collaboration among housing societies, property owners, and professionals involved in the real estate ecosystem. According to him, strengthening communication and improving access to guidance will be essential in resolving long-standing issues related to property documentation and compliance.

The Maharashtra Flat Owners Welfare Association (MFOWA) is a service platform dedicated to supporting flat owners by helping them navigate legal, administrative, and procedural challenges related to property ownership and housing societies.

Many property owners across Maharashtra face issues such as incomplete ownership records, missing conveyance documents, absence of occupancy certificates, society disputes, and delays in official documentation. These challenges often create legal uncertainty and financial risk.

MFOWA works to address these concerns by offering structured guidance, documentation assistance, and procedural support to its members. Through its initiatives, the association helps flat owners understand their rights and responsibilities while facilitating better coordination with professionals and authorities involved in property-related processes.

The association’s mission is to empower flat owners by simplifying complex property-related procedures and providing transparent, reliable, and lawful assistance. Its vision is to build a trusted and centralized ecosystem where property rights are protected, administrative processes are easier to navigate, and citizens are not exploited due to lack of information.
