Sandhya Dalai: From Odisha to the Global Stage, Just the Beginning of an Inspiring Journey

Sandhya Dalai, hailing from the heart of Odisha, is a multifaceted personality whose accomplishments span the realms of modeling, social activism, entrepreneurship, fitness, fashion blogging, and her aspiration to become an IAS officer. Recently, she achieved a significant milestone by winning the prestigious title of Mrs Asia World 2023. The grand event took place in Pattaya, Thailand, where Sandhya not only graciously accepted the title but also brought the rich Odisha culture to the forefront with a mesmerizing Odissi classical dance performance.
Born in Berhampur, in Odisha's Ganjam district, and raised in Rayagada, Sandhya has left an indelible mark on the modeling scene in her home state. Her journey to success includes winning the Mrs India 2020 and Mrs India Universe 2020 (virtual quarantine queen) titles in New Delhi. During the same year, she received the Forever Star India Award (FSIA) 2020 in Rajasthan. With a postgraduate degree in Political Science, Sandhya was also honored with an honorary doctorate degree from the International Peace University in Coimbatore, adding the prestigious title of Dr. to her name.
Beyond her achievements in the modeling industry, Sandhya is a dedicated fitness advisor and serves as the center head of the International Personal Training and Fitness Academy in Odisha. Her husband, Mr. Mithun Dalai, is the director of IPTFA Odisha and the owner of Mahaveer Fitness Academy in Rayagada. Together, they make significant contributions to the fitness and training sector, with IPTFA International Academy operating in 32 countries.
