'Love Lottery' Song 'Bewafaa' Depicts Pain of Betrayal

Mumbai, 18 Sep 2026: With the release of Akshay Oberoi and Heli Daruwala starrer Love Lottery drawing closer, curiosity around the film continues to build. After the release of the film’s first song, ‘Nazar Lag Jayegi’, the makers have now unveiled the second song, ‘Bewafaa’. The film explores love, marriage and the complexities that emerge when trust begins to fall apart, making the song an important part of its emotional journey. ‘Bewafaa’ brings the pain of betrayal and broken trust to the forefront and adds another emotional layer to the story.

True to its title, ‘Bewafaa’ is an emotional track about cracks in a relationship, betrayal and the pain that comes with losing trust. Along with love and relationships, Love Lottery also explores suspicion, deception and a complicated legal battle, and the new song adds depth to the emotional side of the narrative.

The song has been shot against the scenic locations of Uttarakhand, adding to its emotional mood and visual appeal. The lyrics have been penned by Arvind Pandey, while Krishna Beruaa has lent his voice to the song. The music has been composed by Varun Mishra and Arvind Pandey.

Love Lottery revolves around a relationship where the mistrust that develops between a couple gradually turns into a serious legal and criminal case. After Bharani Verma is found dead under mysterious circumstances, Kartik Saxena becomes the prime suspect. What follows is a search for the truth, with buried secrets, conflicting narratives and a complex courtroom battle coming to the forefront.

The film’s first song, ‘Nazar Lag Jayegi’, was released towards the end of August and featured the chemistry between Akshay Oberoi and Heli Daruwala against the picturesque backdrop of Uttarakhand. With ‘Bewafaa’, the makers now present a completely different side of their relationship — one marked by emotional turmoil, betrayal and a loss of trust. The contrasting mood of the two songs gives audiences another glimpse into the different shades of the relationship at the heart of Love Lottery.

Director Arvind Pandey says, “‘Bewafaa’ is an important song that brings out the emotional side of the story. With Love Lottery, we have tried to explore different shades of relationships, and this song is an integral part of that journey. It captures the pain and loneliness that comes with broken trust, whether it is between a husband and wife or between two people in love. We hope the song helps audiences connect with the emotions of the characters and the story.”

Producer Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’ says, “Love Lottery is not just a suspense thriller; relationships and the emotional conflicts surrounding them are equally important to the film. ‘Bewafaa’ brings that emotional aspect to the audience. Our effort has been to ensure that every song is connected to the story and moves the narrative forward rather than feeling like a separate track. We hope audiences connect with ‘Bewafa’ and its emotions.”

Love Lottery stars Akshay Oberoi and Heli Daruwala in the lead roles, with Kabir Duhan Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Hemant Pandey, Indira Krishnan, Santosh Shukla and others in key roles. The film is directed by Arvind Pandey, with the story and screenplay written by Ankur Khattri. It is produced by Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’ under the Cinema-Ganj Films banner.
