Mumbai When love and trust in a relationship become entangled with betrayal, marriage and legal complexities, the story goes beyond emotions and raises several important questions. Starring Akshay Oberoi and Haley Daruwala, the upcoming film Love Lottery is set to bring some of these questions to the big screen. Due to a delay in receiving its censor certificate, the film’s release, which was earlier scheduled for 18 September, has now been postponed by a week to 25 September 2026.
Produced by Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’ under the banner of Cinema-Ganj Films and directed by Arvind Pandey, the film explores contemporary relationships, marital disputes, betrayal and issues surrounding maintenance, blending these sensitive subjects with suspense and courtroom drama. The film also highlights the issue of men’s rights and the balance of rights within relationships as an important part of its narrative.
Kabir Duhan Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Hemant Pandey and Indira Krishnan, among several other actors, play pivotal roles in the film.
With its new release date, Love Lottery is now ready to pose a compelling question before audiences—in relationships, does truth ultimately prevail, or does the law have the final say?
