The Yathakatha International Film & Literature Festival Season 2 concluded on a high note in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. This four-day cultural extravaganza was brought to life through the collaborative efforts of Yathakatha Private Limited, a prominent media company based in Mumbai under the leadership of Charru Sharma. The festival took place at L.S. Raheja College of Arts & Commerce, Santacruz (West), Mumbai.

Over the course of the festival, attendees were treated to a rich array of activities, including engaging panel discussions on diverse topics, insightful master classes covering the nuances of filmmaking, content writing, publishing, music, dance, VFX, and animation, among other subjects. The event kicked off on November 2, 2023, at L.S. Raheja College campus and came to a splendid conclusion on the evening of November 5, 2023, with a grand closing and award ceremony.

The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Dr. Smita Dolas Somane, IRS Commissioner Mumbai, Mahesh Rairikar, a politician and the CMD of Capital World Consultancy, Chintan Shah, Director of Orion Industries, the renowned Actor Sharad Malhotra, the Celebrity Choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, Dr. Piyush Roy, Siddharth Jain, Founder of StoryInk, Mamta Mandal, Founder of Global Hindi Foundation Singapore, Karuna Waghmare, an accomplished Body Builder, Rahul B Seth, a Singer & Lyricist, and many other notable personalities.

In the second season of the Yathakatha International Film & Literature Festival, some of the standout moments included a panel discussion titled "Keeping Culture Alive Through Music by ISRA," featuring Sanjay Tondon, CEO of the Indian Singers Rights Association (ISRA), Rekha Bharadwaj, and Anup Jalota. They delved into the future of Indian music and its legacy. The festival also hosted captivating discussions on Indian cinematic history, the role of songs in Hindi films, the basics of camera work, and media and entertainment.

In addition, there were thought-provoking panels on women's empowerment, AI, podcasting, and writing for both books and screens. The festival also emphasized the importance of the Hindi language and discussed the challenges it faces. Aabid Surti, a senior writer and cartoonist, delighted the audience with insights into his popular comic characters, Bahadur and Dabbuji.

Literature awards went to individuals like Dr. Piyush Roy, Manoj Sharma, Nikhlesh Mathur, Nandita Chakraborthy, Moselia R Jamir, and Lata Gwalani, while cinema awards recognized outstanding contributions in various categories.

The Yathakatha International Film & Literature Festival Season was graciously hosted by L.S. Raheja College of Arts & Commerce, Santacruz, Mumbai, as the Venue Partner.
