Kangana Ranaut’s much-anticipated film Emergency has cleared a significant hurdle, receiving its censor certificate. Directed and headlined by Kangana herself, the film showcases her portrayal of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in a powerful performance.
Taking to social media, Kangana shared the exciting news, stating, “We are pleased to announce that Emergency has received its censor certificate. The release date will be announced shortly. Thank you for your patience and support 🇮🇳.”
With the censor certification in place, the team behind Emergency is now preparing for its official release, with an announcement about the launch date expected soon.
Written and directed by Kangana, the film features a stellar ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik in key roles. The movie is produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, with music composed by Sanchit Balhara and G V Prakash Kumar. The screenplay and dialogues are penned by Ritesh Shah.
