Happu gets a call from an informer who tells him that two big smugglers, JK and KK, are meeting today, and Happu should catch them. But Happu reaches late, which makes Commissioner angry. He fines Happu and says that from now on, if he is even a minute late, 1000 rupees will be deducted. The next day, Happu is 15 minutes late, and 15,000 rupees are deducted from his salary.

When this news reaches Happu’s family, they decide to help him reach on time. Malaika makes a strict timetable for Happu, which doesn’t allow him to eat, drink, or even go to the washroom. Then the informer calls again and gives the details about the smugglers’ location and time. This time, the Commissioner and Manohar decide to go with Happu. However, Happu gets a call from his children’s school and tells the Commissioner that he will catch up and reach on time.

The Commissioner and Manohar go to catch the smugglers, but they realize that the informer has double-crossed them and now plans to kidnap the Commissioner. Just when things are about to get worse, Happu arrives late and saves the Commissioner’s life. The Commissioner, pleased with Happu’s bravery, gives him permission to be 30 minutes late and cancels the fines. Happu’s family is happy when they hear the good news.
