This poignant dramedy, produced by Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment and directed by Madhumita, features Abhishek Bachchan in one of his most vulnerable and layered performances to date, alongside the remarkable child actor Daivik Bhagela.
Set to premiere on ZEE5 on 4th July, Kaalidhar Laapata tells the story of a man society has written off — and his quiet rebellion against invisibility. Kaalidhar (Abhishek Bachchan), discarded by his family and battling memory loss, decides to carve out his own fate when he uncovers his siblings’ plan to abandon him during the Maha Kumbh Mela.
